At Fins we attempt to cook food in an innovative and nutritious manner. To achieve this we use fresh local herbs (often from my home), spices wines and pastes. Our seafood is fresh and local. Whenever possible our fish is line-caught.

A rather plain shop tucked inside an arcade but meticulous attention to the plate. Prices are reasonable and the service naive and friendly. Always popular despite changes of ownership. Tiny kitchen and a homely feel.

This is two very separate restaurants in one. The more formal atmosphere of the main dining room and out front, the under canvas awnings and roll down clear plastic curtains, a much more relaxed outdoors area. At night the light from burning torches flickers on the palms, creating an expectation of tropical adventure.

Super smart (and expensive) accommodation with luxury suites, a penthouse for guests and a restaurant for house guests and others with a menu that changes daily, but which usually features fresh seafood and local produce.

Inner city style blends perfectly with holiday Byron groove. The small room is well used inside and out, they merge cosily. The music is loud but well balanced for the situation and the seating comfortable for the young and those pushing 40. Upmarket breakfasters co-exist happily. It's more than feral territory, coffee is the substance.
